Thanks, Jacob! That’s a great suggestion.

When you set up a Form with checkboxes/dropdowns/radio buttons, there will be an option to define the “Values” of each option. You’re probably used this feature to define a “full text” dropdown value, while keeping the underlying Pardot value as something short (so CA => “Canada” on the form).

What’s not so obvious is a little “plus” icon next to your values that is called “add to list”. Whenever a person chooses that particular dropdown/checkbox value, they’ll be added to the list you define. With 4 webinar topics, you can have the form adding people to one (or more) of 4 lists that correspond to the topic. (Google “pardot add to list from field values”)

Next, set up an Engagement Studio with the 4 lists as “Recipient Lists”. Inside the engagement program, you can use conditional statements to check – if someone is on “list for event A” then you can trigger a bunch of actions. Then check if someone is on “list B” for a different set of actions. If you want to let people sign up for several webinars at once, make sure to set up the program to handle that.

Good luck!

I’ve corrected them and things should work better now!

Could we imagine in your example than instead of having 4 different custom fields, we would have created 1 custom field with a single picklist: value 1, value 2, value 3 and value 4.

Would it work the same in the script using only 1 field ID and variations for the 4 different values?

If I have a form that takes payment but also needs to create a lead in Pardot, can I use a form handler to send the relevant fields to Pardot while also sending the data to the payment processor?

Any suggestions as to why this may be the case?

In the example above the endpointURL’s have ‘&#8217’ appended in the final version – is this or something similar required? Thank you in advance!
